There is a very nostalgic perfume scent to the lipstick which reminds me of playing with my grandma's makeup as a little girl, and I really enjoy that. I have used lots of lipsticks over the years and as I said this lasts a long time, several hours as long as I'm not eating. The shade Croquette is almost an exact dupe for my own lip shade but I like that because it means I can get away with wearing it. I don't usually wear makeup anymore for religious reasons but I still wear nude lip colors or other lip products. This shade just makes me look a little more put together. I would definitely buy this lipstick again and I have already recommended it to my friends and family. It's a winner! I highly recommend it if you like traditional lipsticks!Good push to release designFirst of all, I love the push to release cover design. This feature means that the lipstick can't accidentally be twisted and smear and/or break. Coquette is a soft, rosy pink color with a slight shimmer. This lipstick has a creamy texture and went smoothly onto my lips. It contains several ingredients, including rosa centifola, rosa damascena, and rosa hybrid flower extracts, which are unique. I didn't notice any shaping, but the lipstick was somewhat moisturizing. Overall, I wasn't impressed with this product and it fell short of my expectations.Best lipstick I have found!5Beautiful lipstick. I for instance I appreciate purples and nudes and I go crazy over pinks.įor those who want to make a statement a matte finish red would be ideal, while for an everyday look you can pick up a less intense color with a sheer finish and end the day with a sophisticated creamy lip shade and a plus of shine.Īll the shades I swatched, applied so smooth with a good color payoff and some of them show a natural shine. There are so many colors to choose from that is almost impossible not to fimd a favorite. Once I found myself in front of the Lancome counter I started swatching some of the colors and choosing different finishes. Lancome reinvents the classic L’Absolu Rouge and comes out with a new packaging, formula and offers a variety of 86 shades with threw finishes ranging from matte, creamy and sheer. International Launch Date – September 2016 Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick – New & Permanent – $32.00 / 155.00 Lei Romania Launch Date – September 2016 at Sephora, Douglas I admit, I never was a lipstick gal but once in a while I can deny my lips the luxurious touch and intense color of a lipstick. My heart started beating faster when my eyes spotted the new fall 2016 collection of Lancome L’Absolu Rouge lipsticks I so much praised in my past articles.
