It was worth a visit, but it wasn’t an “ I can’t wait to try it again experience ”. They were seasoned just right and were crispy/crunchy on the outside and tender(not over cooked) on the inside. The fried green tomatoes was the best out of the meal to me. The biscuit itself was tasty, the chicken tender was over cooked and spicy, the toasted goat cheese was interesting. The Squawking Goat (featured on the Food Network) is a biscuit sandwich that comes with one chicken tender, toasted goat cheese and pepper jelly. The Farmer is a biscuit sandwich that comes with one fried chicken tender, apple butter, bacon and melted cheddar cheese. My order was for The Farmer, The Squawking Goat, fried green tomatoes and a child’s chocolate chip waffle with an apple juice box(that wasn’t in the to go bag, didn’t know until I opened the bag at my niece’s house). and moved people through the line quickly. It wasn’t very crowded, and service was fast. This was my first time eating at Maple Street, pick up time was 9:50. Breakfast was an online/ pickup order, from the Maple Street Biscuit Company in Simpsonville. Visiting my great great nephew this morning in Simpsonville.
